A Year of Charitable Giving as it Celebrates Its First Anniversary
EIGHT4NINE Restaurant & Lounge celebrated its first year in business with a festive reception for the community on Monday, September 12th. Co-owners Willie Rhine and John Paschal used the occasion to gather food items for The Community Food Bank @ The Center. “We are excited to share this milestone with the community and we felt the occasion was a great opportunity to shine a light on the plight of hunger in our community, so we encouraged our guests who attended our anniversary to bring food items for the food bank,” stated Rhine. “We are so grateful to Greater Palm Springs’ residents and visitors who have warmly embraced EIGHT4NINE Restaurant & Lounge and we are committed to giving back to the community that has fueled our early success,” Rhine added.
With the staggering statistics for restaurant failures, EIGHT4NINE’s early success is especially notable. In addition to its success, EIGHT4NINE has also become an important community partner, hosting fundraising events and contributing in-kind services for a variety of nonprofits.
