The Museum Associates Council and the Board of Trustees of the Palm Springs Art Museum cordially invite you to attend the Museum Gala 2013

On Saturday, January 26, 2013, Under the Streetlamp, a quartet with a modern twist on a retro sound they call the “American    Radio Songbook,” will step into the limelight and headline the museum’s gala for an unforgettable evening. In March 2012, Under the Streetlamp launched a PBS Special that helped them gain new fans across the country. Comprised of four flawless voices, its members, Michael Cunio, Shonn Wiley, Michael Ingersoll and Christopher Kale Jones, are all   veterans of the stage, having starred in various productions of the Broadway hit “Jersey Boys,” a musical history of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. See them perform on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxY_sJibrD8

Gala Chairs Georgia and Jerry Fogelson are very excited about the energy of the evening. Under the Streetlamp breathes new life into old-time classics and proves that great music is timeless. Their repertoire favors classic Motown hits, good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll, and doo-wop. There’s no question that Under the Streetlamp share their joy for the music and the art of   entertaining with their audiences. This electrifying quartet will rock ‘n’ roll you into a toe tapping, high-energy good time.

You and your friends will not want to miss this wonderful night of musical excitement!
