UltraStar Mary Pickford Cinemas Introduces Summer Kids’ Movie Series
UltraStar Mary Pickford Cinemas is pleased to introduce its Summer Kids’ Movie Series beginning in June. Every Monday through Friday from June 11 through August 17, families are invited to enjoy 10 weeks of recently released, family-friendly films for the one-time ticket price of $5.00 ($0.50 per film). A different film is featured each week, including favorite titles such as The Smurfs, HOP, Rio, Happy Feet 2, Alvin and the Chipmunks – Chipwrecked and more.
Each week a select film will screen daily at 10 a.m. every Monday through Friday, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. All films will be presented in 2D format and are rated G or PG. Guests simply select the day of the week they would like to attend for the one-time ticket price of $5.00. Each week, they return on the same day to see all 10 weeks of films. Tickets for individual days (not pre-selected in advance) can be purchased at the door for $1.00 each. Children 2 and under are admitted for free. The UltraStar Mary Pickford Cinemas are centrally located off Highway 111 in the Cathedral City Civic Center at 36-850 Pickfair St. Advance tickets are currently on sale at the UltraStar box office.

- Week of July 2-6: Zookeeper
- Week of July 9-13: We Bought a Zoo
- Week of July 16-20: Dolphin Tale
- Week of July 23-27: Mr. Popper’s Penguins
- Week of July 30-August 3: Monte Carlo
- Week of August 6-10: Happy Feet 2
- Week of August 13-17: Alvin and the Chipmunks – Chipwrecked
